Introduction
Because my blog is operational for 1 year today, I didn’t want it to go by unnoticed.
See also the other article, that’s released today: A Pop Life: one year old; the best and most read stories!.
Blog
A Pop Life 1 jaar
Last year my blog was officially started with a beautiful story by mu 7 year old son Timur (since this blog is originally a Dutch blog, I am incapable of translating his story properly, leaving the child-like sentences and phrases intact; in short: no translation available). Since then I have written many stories. A lot of them are (still) to my satisfaction, some less so. The number of readers is on the rise, the number of comments (sadly) goes down.
There is a remarkable difference between the (original) Dutch and the (translated) English site. On the Dutch site the ‘top … best’ stories attract the most readers. On the English site the Prince stories attract the most readers (currently the Sign O’ The Times story has been read over 12,500 times).
I still enjoy the writing and seeing/reading the replies (which are largely supplied through Facebook and Google+). I hope this will remain for the time(s) to come.
I would like to take this opportunity to state to all readers, repliers, newsletter-members, Facebook followers, Google+ followers and Twitter followers: thank you all. I really do appreciate it immensely!

But, enough of that: in honor of the 1-year anniversary of A Pop Life: My life with music, today my best albums per year, beginning with the year of my birth. Have fun ;-).
