German singer, composer, actrice and model. She played parts in several movies, including in Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and Andy Warhol’s Chelsea Girls. She became the muse to both John Cale and Lou Reed and sang on 3 songs on the classic The Velvet Underground & Nico. She simultaneously started her solo career. Jim Morrison encouraged her to start writing her own songs and she made a number of impressive albums, some of classics
