Rating

Afro Anatolian Tales is an international ensemble operating from the Netherlands that plays remarkable performances. All the musicians deserve to be mentioned, as each and every one of them was spectacularly good:
- Sjahin During (TR/NL) – percussion, band leader
- Bence Huszar (HU) – cello & electronics
- Burak Savaş (TR) – vocals, tanbur, violin
- Antonio Moreno Glazkov (ES/RU) – trumpet, synthesizer & laptop
- Saghar Khadem (IR) – percussion
- Avin Ahmadi (IR) – vocals, oud
The music was a blend of Turkish, Armenian, Persian and Afghan songs, interwoven with Western motifs and instruments. Particularly impressive was the piece dedicated to the Iranian resistance fighters, performed by 22-year-old talent Avin Ahmadi.
However, singling out one person would not be fair. Each musician brought their own dynamics and created an evening of beautiful and moving Art (indeed, with a capital A).
