The Magic tour was coming to Belgium at the Koning Boudewijn stadium. Due to an overwhelming supply of concerts that summer ticket sales for a lot of the concerts were slow. The Bruce show was a slow seller as well. The concert was moved to the (indoor) Sportpaleis, making the show the only show that wasn’t outdoors. Such luck. On a beautiful summer’s day we entered the Sportpaleis, which was boiling hot even before the show had started. It truly was a once in a lifetime experience. We were close to the stage and had a perfect view. The E Street Band seemed to be happy to be playing a more intimate venue and were having the time of their lives!
