In promotion of The Rainbow Children. At the time Prince had his own website and club: NPG Music Club. I was a member and didn’t just an hour’s worth of music every month(!), but I also had access to pre-sales to concerts. And not just that; as a member you could also attend the rehearsals prior to the concert and be present at an aftershow (if one was organized). In Antwerp the rehearsal turned into a concert of its own, during which Prince played a lot of guitar and instructed his band over 1.5 hours. The regular show was spectacular. The entire tour Prince seemed reborn. One of the most special concert experiences of my life!
