Beautiful concert, at times impressive even. Robert Smith’s voice is still great. A few surprises in the setlist. I didn’t expect the first, Other Voices, but was very happy with it. Unfortunately that was the only song off Faith. Other highlights during the regular set were Pictures Of You, Charlotte Sometimes and One Hundred Years.
I hoped for the Seventeen Seconds encore and that was the one this evening! The first song of the encore was another surprise: Three Imaginary Boys off the band’s debut album, followed by a quartet Seventeen Seconds songs (At Night, M, Play for Today and A Forest). Beautiful! Fascination Street and Close To Me were the highlights in the following 2 encores.
After over 2 hours and 45 minutes the show as over. Had a blast. Fine concert!
