Jamaican drummer and producer, originally renowned from his work with the reagge rhythm section Sly And Robbie. Dunbar was an influential player, whose rhythms were copied multiple times. He was a popular session musician and producer. He worked on music by reggae musicians like U-Roy, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs, Sugar Minott, Augustus Pablo, Yellowman and Black Uhuru. But he was sought after outside of the reggae genre as well, by artists like Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Jackson Browne, Cyndi Lauper, Joe Cocker, Yoko Ono, Sting en Grace Jones |
