In 2025, I saw St. Vincent’s All Born Screaming Tour in Utrecht on July 7, the musical highlight of that year. An utterly unique, thrilling, and mesmerizing concert. The tour ended on September 3, 2025, in London with a special performance as part of the BBC Proms series, which took place from July 17 through September 12, 2025, at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
The Royal Albert Hall website announced the concert as follows.
She’s the queen of ‘raw emotion, electrifying rock and unrestrained self-expression’. Now, fresh from three 2025 Grammy wins – including Best Rock Song and Best Alternative Music Album – St. Vincent makes her BBC Proms debut in a unique UK performance.
Widely regarded as one of the most innovative and fascinating artists in modern music, the chart-topping American ‘art-rock siren’ collaborates with Jules Buckley and his orchestra, performing brand- new symphonic arrangements of tracks from her eclectic back catalogue.

St. Vincent was set to perform a cross-section of her oeuvre, accompanied by the 60-piece Jules Buckley Orchestra and her regular keyboard player Rachel Eckroth. The songs featured new arrangements of St. Vincent’s material, developed by multiple arrangers, including Jules Buckley, Rachel Eckroth, Sam Gale, Jochen Neuffer, Peter Riley, and Tom Trapp.

St. Vincent – BBC Proms – 09/03/2025
The concert on September 3 was highly praised by the press.
It’s thrilling to see an artist on a stage just jamming out on an electric guitar with an orchestra that Clark very clearly not only appreciates, but respects immensely.
(Rolling Stone UK)It was a fabulous piece of programming and would prove to be one of the live music highlights of the year.
(UK Jazz News)St. Vincent’s performance at the Royal Albert Hall is the perfect example of how to combine modern music with classic orchestral arrangements, making for a fantastic night out. The concert is a gorgeous mix of whimsy and rock that has audiences feeling as though they have entered a fantasy world of ghosts and guitars.
(Browadway World)Stunning would be the word as Clark entered the stage awash with a string section.
(Far Out Magazine)St. Vincent lit up London’s Royal Albert Hall last night (September 3) with a performance of deep cuts with a live orchestra.
(NME)The Grammy-winning artist appeared with the Jules Buckley Orchestra in a performance packed with otherworldly panache.

Review
St. Vincent has quickly grown into one of my favorite artists. Her delivery, her guitar playing, her compositions, it is all equally impressive. The same is true for this album. The combination of her songs with a classical foundation works very well. St. Vincent is able to add an extra layer to her music.
This live album comes highly recommended. Essential listening for St. Vincent fans and for any music lover who wants to hear a great talent sing and play guitar in a new setting for her, and to clearly hear her triumph. Deep, deep respect!

I was there, side of stage right, front row and in line with Annie. What a show. Utterly blinding. And we’d seen her in London only a few months ago.
