Terry Hall was a British musician and lead singer. As singer for The Specials, Hall shared responsibility for the English ska-revival at the end of the 1970s/early 1980s. Hall’s distant performance, presentation and vocals helped make The Specials turn into one the most influential bands of all time. Following his tenure with The Specials he was part of Fun Boy Three, The Colourfield, Terry, Blair & Anouchka and Vegas. In 1994 he started his solo career. Later he worked with artists like Mushtaq, Gorillaz, D12, Junkie XL, Toots And The Maytals and The Dub Pistols. From 2008 and onwards The Specials reconvened, performed regularly and even made new music together
