Yesterday, on March 31 at 8:12 PM CET, the Prince Estate announced that the Prince And The Revolution masterpiece Parade will be re-released by using a reel on Facebook and Instagram. It’s currently unclear in which shape and/or form. The reel that showed 3 images (see above) states a Deluxe Edition. The corresponding text mentions an Expanded edition. We’ll have to wait and see, but still, very good news indeed.
The music used in the accompanying reel is the live version of Mountains. The recording is taken from the TV show Parade, which showed parts of the June 7, 1986, Prince And The Revolution show in Detroit, and was broadcast in 1986 in France, the UK, The Netherlands (October 15) and Japan.
