A highly entertaining concert by Sudan Archives who came by to present her most recent album Natural Brown Prom Queen. The enthusiasm of het audience seemed to genuinely surprise her. The setlist was diverse and at times even exciting. Image wise Sudan Archives still has some things to learn. For instance, is it really necessary to accompany the phrase “I just wanna have my titties out” with doing just that? She and the show don’t need it, it doesn’t add anything.
But, Sudan Archives seems to have a bright futute ahead of her. Muscially it’s great and compelling enough. But that name…
