Introduction
Op October 18, 1979, the Dutch satirical duo Koot en Bie broadcast an item on The Police. The clip showed a man who’s lost feeling with the current times. The Police reintroduced him to his younger self, only if it was for just a few minutes.

As the sketch and the newspaper article that inspired it are in Dutch and the story of the duo Koot en Bie is also a truly Dutch phenomenon, I have decided against translating this particular article into English, as it has no added value to non Dutch speaking readers.
