1/5: Only Hallo Venray and Sandra St. Victor really added to the evening. The rest were oftentimes scandalously weak.

5/5: Upon entrance it was immediately clear this was going to be special. And it was a blast: Prince whipped the audience into a frenzy. The Sportpaleis shook to its core!

3½/5: Disappointing concert by Prince. He had an off day (or maybe I did); it just didn’t feel right tonight.

4½/5: The second show was too short (but did include Breakdown!). First (and last) time my son Rachid saw Prince.

4½/5: The first show was the best. New band (3rd Eye Girl), new music, heavily indebted to hard rock. He was very, very inspired and the sound level was worthy of the Concorde. Top day.

4½/5: Great show, with some very nice and one-time surprises: Gold and Chocolate.

5/5: A very special evening indeed (Girl!). Top concert by Prince.

5/5: The day after the disappointing opening show Prince had to make things right and he delivered: opening with Joy In Repetition followed by The Love We Make. A marvellous experience!

3/5: This concert was the first of three NSJ shows and was marred by real awful, even ugly, sound and an uninspired setlist.

4/5: Extremely good concert. Before the ‘regular’ set Prince played quite a lot of songs with all the house lights still on. A party concert.

5/5: Aftershow by Prince that ended strangely, but contained a number of gems, like the opening jam and an exquisite extremely funky I Know You Got Soul.

4/5: A number of great surprises (Don’t Play Me and The Ride) at the soundcheck and the concert. Very good.
